EMBODIED Recovery

Embodied Recovery™

A Non-Clinical Women’s Wellness & Embodiment Program

Embodied Recovery™ is a trauma-aware, non-clinical wellness program designed to support women in recovery by restoring safety, dignity, and trust in the body.

The program complements existing clinical treatment by addressing embodiment gaps that often contribute to dysregulation, relapse vulnerability, and disconnection—particularly for women with histories of addiction, disordered eating, and compulsive control patterns.

This program does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or medical care.

About Nicole Ambrosia

Nicole Ambrosia is a non-clinical wellness and embodiment coach with lived experience in recovery from bulimia, body dysmorphia, and compulsive control patterns.

Her background includes dance, movement education, and over 20 years of embodied practice focused on nervous-system regulation, self-connection, and recovery-supportive wellness.

In her early twenties, a near-death experience profoundly shifted her relationship to life and health, deepening her commitment to service-based work rooted in embodiment, reverence for the body, and sustainable well-being.

Nicole’s work today focuses on supporting women in recovery through gentle movement, breath regulation, nourishment awareness, and trauma-aware psychoeducation—offered as an adjunct to clinical treatment, not a replacement for it.

Integration & Professional Scope

Embodied Recovery™ operates as an adjunct wellness service within residential or outpatient treatment settings.

The program is designed to integrate seamlessly into existing schedules and treatment models and supports—rather than replaces—clinical care.

All services are non-clinical, educational, and experiential in nature.
